Still having issues connecting to the JMU-Official-Wireless Network? Check your wireless configuration settings at or contact the IT Help Desk at 54, or stop by the Student Success Center (SSC 4th floor).
Tap Settings, scroll down and tap the Trash can icon ( Forget button, or Forget Network). Tap WiFi, then tap on JMU-Official Wireless.
Tap Settings (gear icon), then tap Wireless and Networks or Connections.

Tap “Forget” to confirm that you want to forget the wireless network. Tap on the “i” icon beside “JMU-Official-Wireless” and then tap “Forget This Network”. Click “OK” in bottom right and close Network Preferences. In “Wi-Fi” tab, select “JMU Official-Wireless” and click on minus (-) sign at bottom. Select “Wi-Fi” on left and click “Advanced…” on the right. If lock icon in bottom left is closed, click on the lock and enter your administrator user name and password. Click the Apple icon in top left and select “System Preferences”. Click “JMU Official-Wireless” and then click “Forget”. Click “Wi-Fi” on the left and then click “Manage known networks”. Click the Start button in the bottom left corner. If you have the JMU-Official-Wireless and/or the Eduroam wireless networks on your device, forget both of these networks (see steps in second FAQ for forgetting a network for Android OS 6 and Later).Until this issue is resolved, please use Eduroam to connect to the JMU wireless network.
